Flexible packaging is used in many areas and stand-up pouches in particular are increasingly
replacing existing packaging for pet and baby food, detergents and cleaning agents, personal care
and dairy products. They are easy to handle, light in weight and reduce the volume of waste. This
makes them an extremely sustainable packaging solution.
Our spouts are an essential part of pouch packaging and have an important role in handling and
consumer experience. For various sealing processes, we offer spouts with our patented wave
structure that protects the film. We have a solution for every filling system – filling through the pouch
and through the spout – and impress with high level of machinability and various opening diameters.
We combine the technical advantages of our spouts with resource savings. With our low-sealing
materials, recyclable mono-material pouches can be realised so that material cycles can be closed.
More resource conservation can be achieved by using post-consumer materials. Greenhouse gas
(GHG) emissions can be reduced by using materials from the dual system.
If you have not yet heard our podcast episode of ‘Innoform – delivers flexpack knowledge’, you have
the opportunity to meet me in person at the 8th European Stand-up Pouch Conference – along with
the latest developments from the Pöppelmann FAMAC® spout programme:
- Innovative spouts with patented welding base for thermal and ultrasonic welding.
- Material solutions for recyclable mono-material pouches.
- Applications of post-consumer recycled material in the non-food sector.
