Einstoffverpackungen werden nicht nur vom Gesetzgeber gefordert. Sie sind ein Baustein einer funktionierenden Kreislaufwirtschaft. In den letzten Jahren haben sich orientierte PE-Folien als Ersatz für andere gereckte Folien wie PET, PP und PA etabliert. Heute sind sie bereits im Einsatz und die Entwicklung schreitet rasant voran. Wir wollen einen Anstoß geben, sich mit dem spannenden Thema der gereckten PE-Folien für Monomaterialverpackungen näher zu beschäftigen.

NC-freie Druckfarben – Sinn und Unsinn

Nitrozellulosefarben haben viele Vorteile. Sie sind in verschiedenen Druckverfahren etabliert und bewährt. So sind NC-Druckfarben dafür verantwortlich, dass Verpackungen beim Recycling deutlich beeinträchtigt werden. Neben Geruchs- und Verfärbungsproblemen sind auch lebensmittelrechtliche Bedenken ein Thema. Obwohl die Forschung noch nicht abgeschlossen ist, werden bereits Alternativen getestet und eingesetzt. Zum Beispiel Hybridsysteme (NC_PU) oder auch reine PU-Systeme. Die Vor- und Nachteile dieser Farbsysteme werden kontrovers diskutiert.
